Development Tools

These are the set of  tools I'm currently using for the game:

  • Visual Studio 2017 - I'm coding in C#7 using Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition. It's free and a really cool IDE!
  • Monogame -  An Open Source implementation of the Microsoft XNA 4 Framework. One framework for creating powerful cross-platform games. It currently support iOS, Android, MacOS, Linux, all Windows platforms, OUYA, PS4, PSVita, and Xbox One with more platforms on the way. They have recently announced future support for Nintendo Switch too! Love it! 
  • Photoshop CC 2017 - The graphics editor I use to show off my artistic pixel art skills. 
  • TexturePacker - Great tool for creating sprite sheets and sprite atlases.
  • WavePad Editor - A powerful audio editing software. More than enough for me.
